Trump Inauguration Blunder:

During Donald Trump’s inauguration, a major technical glitch left country music superstar Carrie Underwood without music during her scheduled performance of “America the Beautiful.” As the audience held their breath, Underwood took control of the moment, belting out a stunning a cappella rendition that left the crowd in awe….

Country music star Carrie Underwood performed “America the Beautiful” at Monday’s inauguration, though it was not without a bump in the road.

While waiting for her instrumental track to come on, Underwood realized there was an issue with the music starting and had to quickly improvise.

“If you know the words, help me out here,” she said before singing the song a cappella.

Former President Joe Biden mouthed “great job” as Underwood shook his hand at the end of her song before also shaking hands with President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance.

When news broke that Underwood would be performing at the inauguration, she released a statement saying she was “honored” to be a part of the ceremony.

“I love our country and am honored to have been asked to sing at the Inauguration and to be a small part of this historic event,” Underwood said in a statement. “I am humbled to answer the call at a time when we must all come together in the spirit of unity and looking to the future.”

But Underwood has avoided discussing politics across her career, in 2019 telling The Guardian, “I feel like more people try to pin me places politically. I try to stay far out of politics if possible, at least in public, because nobody wins. It’s crazy. Everybody tries to sum everything up and put a bow on it, like it’s black and white. And it’s not like that.”
