Karmelo Anthony is a m*rd*rer. There is no way around that fact so why is the left making him like he isn’t.

In a shocking twist no one saw coming — mostly because it’s entirely made up — former NBA superstar Carmelo Anthony has been “exposed” by a band of online conspiracy theorists as a “cold-blooded murderer,” despite a total lack of evidence and, you know, reality.

The revelation, which started as a typo in a heated Twitter thread between two sports fans, has since spiraled into a full-blown satirical scandal. According to the thread’s ringleader, @TruthHurts6969, Anthony’s smooth jump shot and unbothered demeanor are “clear signs of a sinister mind.” The thread goes on to accuse the 10-time NBA All-Star of “killing defenses for years” and “burying three-pointers like bodies.” The phrase “Melo’s a killer” has trended on and off, causing mild confusion for anyone still tethered to facts.

Despite the absurdity, some corners of the internet and talk radio hosts seized on the theory, questioning why the “left-wing sports media” refuses to report on this “open secret.” Outlets like ESPN, Bleacher Report, and even Anthony’s own mother have stood by the inconvenient truth: Carmelo Anthony is, in fact, not a murderer.

That hasn’t stopped certain voices from suggesting the media is covering for him. “You can’t trust these liberal outlets,” said self-appointed justice warrior and part-time YouTube commentator Chad McFreedom. “They let this man walk free just because he can hit a fadeaway jumper? Outrageous.”

Carmelo, when reached for comment, simply chuckled and responded, “Man, I’ve been killing it on the court my whole career — I didn’t know that was a crime.”

Legal experts agree: no charges, no evidence, no case. But that hasn’t stopped the memes, nor the faux outrage. One thing’s for sure: Carmelo Anthony remains guilty of one crime — making it look easy on the hardwood.
