‘EXPLOSIVE’: Country Star Jason Aldean Opens Up About Controversial Hit Try That In A Small Town — Credits Success to “Pure Small-Town WiFi”

NASHVILLE, TN — Country music sensation Jason Aldean finally broke his silence this week about the wildfire success of his chart-topping anthem Try That In A Small Town, a song critics called “divisive” but fans called “Tuesday night.”

In an exclusive interview, Aldean brushed off controversy like dust off a cowboy hat, saying, “People said the song was political. Honestly, I just wanted to write something that’d finally get small-town WiFi strong enough to stream Spotify without buffering. Looks like it worked.”

Aldean went on to credit the song’s success to “the sacred bond between a man, his truck, and a town where the speed limit and the population are the same number.”

When asked if the backlash surprised him, Aldean replied, “If people didn’t argue about it on Twitter, I’d be worried. You can’t call it a hit unless at least three morning talk shows and one angry uncle debate it over Thanksgiving.”

Sources say the singer is now working on a sequel song tentatively titled Try That In A Walmart Parking Lot, which industry experts predict will either spark world peace or another TikTok dance challenge.
